The Visible Hand (https://thevisiblehand.ca) is operated by Medical Futures Group, LLC, a Georgia (USA) limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Information for planning only

The site summarizes publicly available information about undergraduate economics programs to help with planning. It is not academic, admissions, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for an academic advisor.

The official academic calendar of each university is the authority. Requirements change, and summaries can contain errors or omissions. Before making a decision or registering for courses, check the university’s current calendar and confirm with its advisors. Each school page shows the calendar edition and the date the information was last checked.

2. No affiliation

The Visible Hand is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any university, faculty or department. University and program names are used only to identify them; those names and any related marks belong to their owners. We do not use university logos.

3. Our content

The site’s design, text, summaries, insights, charts and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. You may view, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may link to any page. Please do not copy substantial parts of the site, scrape it, or republish it, including in commercial products, without our written permission.

Program requirements themselves are facts drawn from the universities’ calendars, and course titles belong to the universities. Course descriptions on this site are our own paraphrases; we link to the official sources.

4. Error reports you send us

If you send us a correction or suggestion, you allow us to use it to improve the site without payment or attribution. Please do not send confidential or sensitive personal information.

5. Links to other sites

We link to university calendars and other websites for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

6. Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the site, including decisions about admission, program choice or course registration. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you; nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection or privacy law that cannot be waived.

We may update the site, add or remove universities, or change these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when the terms last changed; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of the place you live requires otherwise.
